Firths and Fjords: a coastal history conference

The history of our coastline is fascinating, yet this conference, held over three days in Dornoch, is one of the first to really explore the subject. With international speakers, and space for around 70 delegates, the conference will touch on the Brora salt industry, air services across the western isles and the source of many Gaelic place names. See the website for full details. Booking deadline 15 February 2016.
