Flickr Roundup

So the images have continued to roll in with some great shots from all over Scotland. We’ve picked out a handful of our favourites to share with you.

We’ve got a bit of a coastal bias this time around but we hope you’ll forgive us that – and remember, if you’re a Flickr member, submit your shots to the group!

Please note

All images of course remain the property of the Photographers who have kindly shared them to the group. If you like them, we’d encourage you all to show them your appreciation either in the comments at the bottom of this page or directly on their own Flickr pages.

Kiloran Bay on Colonsay

Let’s start off with this shot of Colonsay from Hugh Spicer on what looks like a cracking summers day. Hugh has submitted a number of shots to the group so do go and look at his photo stream for more.

Ben Wyvis

A dramatically lit Ben Wyvis as shot by dtcuffe

arran from kilbride bay

In somewhat cooler weather than we’re experiencing at the moment, this view over to to Arran from Kilbride Bay was shot by Karen Gillespie – great job!

Towards Glencoe at sunset

Another shot with lovely light here by Nick Bramhall who has taken up position on the west of Ben Cruachan looking down towards Glencoe.

Great to see a little wildlife in the group! A fab shot here captured by Kim Dunk

scotland ( explore )

So how about a little sophisticated Black & White, then? Ivor Miller added this one to the group but enigmatically, he doesn’t tell us where it is. Anyone care to play name that spot?

Balblair MTB Trails: Autumn Riding

It was only a matter of time before our first mountain biker made an appearance! Thanks to Anthony Round for adding this nice Autumnal shot from the Kyle of Sutherland trails

Below The Cuillins

Very hard to choose between Dave Brightwell‘s photos but we love this one from the Cuillins

Castle of Old Wick 2

Mike Stephen has contributed a number of shots to the group including this one of old Wick Castle. All Mike’s shots are very well captioned so his photostream is definitely an educational experience!

Horse Holm 2

We’ll end with this absolutely terrific shot from John Moncrieff up in Shetland. The sea putting on a dramatic show with some moody light to boot!
