Cleverly designed dog mat that absorbs mud and water.
Our Springer Spaniel Ruby does like a muddy puddle, and although we towel her dry after a good long walk in the countryside, it’s not always that effective.
This new mat for dogs helps to absorb a lot of the mud and dirt picked up on a walk through its clever ‘noodle’ design, increasing the surface area of the mat.
We keep it in the car, so that on the way home, just by lying down, Ruby is helping to clean herself.
The mat is made from micro-fibre strands or ‘noodles’ that work their way into paws and fur, to help dry and clean your dog.
It’s 90cm x 60cm – so good for an average sized dog like Ruby, but you might consider two if you had a larger breed. It’s got a non-slip rubber backing, and you can even chuck it in the washing machine (30º)
On test, we tried the mat at home first, in Ruby’s bed, but she did her best to try and destroy it, pulling at the long strands. Since we moved it to the car, and the journeys are fairly short, she isn’t interested in ripping it up, she just wants to snuggle up in it. Every now and again we give it a shake to get rid of the worst of the dirt, so pretty low maintenance.
