Ordnance Survey map competition

Get your photograph of Scotland on to a map cover.

Would you like to see one of your photographs appear on a national map cover? Then the Ordnance Survey would like to hear from you.

The National Map Cover Photography Competition wants budding photographers to capture Scotland in all its glory and submit their entries for consideration.

The competition is open to amateur and professional photographers alike and all ages can apply. Subjects can range from landmarks to adventure pursuits in the great outdoors – and that includes urban landscapes well as the hills and coasts.

Winning entries will appear on the covers of maps used by walkers and cyclists all over the country. And winning photographers will also receive a year’s free subscription to OS Photofit’s online map service. The best overall entry will win a family holiday.

Entrants are free to submit multiple pictures of different locations so to be in with a better chance of winning, get snapping. Submit your entries soon as the next round of submissions closes on 19 April.
