Don’t miss the chance for another evening of high-octane films at the European Outdoor Film Tour
If you have ever attended an outdoor film evening, you’ll know all about the oohs, ahhhs and squeals from the audience as everyone is treated to a series of daring films.
Many of the action-packed films beggar belief as the stars leap off high things in only a wing suit, launch themselves down steep things on a bike or in a kayak or simply dare to do something that most of us really wouldn’t. There is usually a more contemplative film or two thrown into the mix, too.
On Friday November 15 in Edinburgh (Portobello Town Hall) and Saturday November 16 in Glasgow (The Mitchell Theatre), the European Outdoor Film Tour hits Scotland. The EOFT is brought to seven spots in the UK by Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports and in association with Mammut & GORE-TEX.
This year’s collection of films once again promises something for everyone from off-width climbing to surfing, ski and snowboard freeriding to kayaking and cycling to canyoning.
Highlights include the award-winning, surf/environmental documentary North of the Sun; American alpinist Kyle Dempster’s The Road from Karakol and ever popular Wide Boyz’s Tom Randall and Pete Whittaker.
