Multi-sport challenges are becoming increasingly popular. And the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon is one that attracts people looking for a big challenge. The event, which takes places on 12 July, 2014, includes:

  • 1.35k swim in Loch Tay
  • 24k run/walk over seven Munros, encompassing the Lawers and Ptarmigan ridges
  • 11k kayak
  • 54k road cycle around Loch Tay
  • slicing of a melon with a sword to stop the clock

More about the Quad

The Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon (the Quad) is a great test of stamina, strength and fitness but it also rewards with fabulous Highlands scenery, a superb and friendly  atmosphere and a “weekend you will never forget”.

The race can be completed in teams of two or a relay team. Teams of two must complete the full course, together, from start to finish. Relay teams must have a minimum of two members completing each discipline.

Navigational skills are key to the event.

The Quad is an important fundraiser for two charities, Mary’s Meals and Mercy Corp.
