Kayak enthusiasts from all over the country flock to Fort William for the annual paddlefest. Now in it’s 11th year, this event provides paddlers with two full days of negotiating down the challenging Rivers Moriston and Garry. Dams are released especially for this event on both rivers meaning that participants have a thrilling experience riding through the fresh whitewater. Saturday’s event takes place on River Moriston, followed by River Garry the next day. Tickets are priced £25 for members of the Canoe Association and £40 for non-members.
