Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge 2014
21 June, 2014 @ 7:00 am - 22 June, 2014 @ 12:00 pm£115
One of Scotland’s most successful fundraising events returns for its ninth year. Starting at Drymen, the participants of the Rob Roy Challenge set off on a 16 mile hike through the glorious Trossachs until they reach Callander. From there, they switch to bikes and cycle to Killin, then along the south side of Loch Tay to complete the remaining 39 miles to Kenmore. This is a great event and not only raises funds for fantastic charities (Barnardo’s Scotland, WaterAid and Over the Wall) but is also a superb, albeit challenging, day out. The fun continues after the event with an award ceremony, a well-earned feast and a ceilidh. If you would like to take part, you are asked to raise £350 each and pay an entry fee of £115 (entry fee is £125 from March onwards).
