Scotland Outdoors has teamed up with leading outdoor activity company nineonesix-guiding to offer readers the chance to win an unforgettable two days’ free guiding in one of Scotland’s most spectacular areas.
The prize is for two people and includes two nights bed and breakfast at Torridon Youth Hostel, which overlooks Loch Torridon and is surrounded by dramatic mountains including Beinn Alligin, Liathach and Beinn Eighe.
The guided expedition on the first day can be your choice from rock climbing, scrambling and hill-walking, with all necessary safety equipment provided. The second day will feature mountain biking, with bike hire included.
For 12 years now, nineonesix-guiding has offered customers a personal, professional service based on what they want to do, rather than on any fixed timetable.
All its guides are highly qualified, including owner Jim Sutherland, a long-serving member of Torridon Mountain Rescue.
Evening meals are not included, but the hostel has a large, modern kitchen and there are some excellent restaurants nearby.
