Hurry! Win tickets to an evening with four of the UK’s greatest explorers, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Ben Fogle, Olly Hicks and Kenton Cool
The Black Grouse Scotch Whisky is teaming up with Scotland Outdoors to offer readers the chance to win tickets to an evening with these great adventurers at The Hub, Edinburgh, on 9 September (postponed, new date to be announced). They will talk about their motivation and the highs and lows of their astonishing expeditions.
Sir Ranulph Fiennes is perhaps the world’s greatest living explorer.
He has crossed the Antarctic unsupported, run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days and climbed Everest aged 65
Ben Fogle has run the Marathon des Sables across the Sahara and ridden a rickshaw from Edinburgh to London while pursuing his successful television career
Olly Hicks was the first person to row across the Atlantic from the US to Britain, and now aims to row around the world unsupported
Kenton Cool, one of Britain’s leading young mountaineers, last year made the first ascent of the three peaks in the Everest Horseshoe without returning to base camp
We have two pairs of tickets to give away.
Winners will also be invited to a VIP drinks reception where they will have the chance to sample The Black Grouse signature serve, The Black & Black – a smooth, smoky cocktail with a splash of cola and a squeeze of orange. The Black Grouse has a smoky smooth taste profile and is a blend of The Famous Grouse with specially selected peated malts.
